Subs
The sub pool
Each league has a sub pool: a list of people who might fill in. Subs can be invited without creating a full account.
When a golfer is out
- The golfer marks "can't make it" in the app, or the commissioner marks them out.
- Gimme asks the sub pool in priority order, by text, until someone says yes. (Texting is a League Pro and Course feature. On League, subs are contacted by email, and the commissioner can contact them by hand.)
- You see on your dashboard who is out, who was asked, and who accepted.
Sub handicaps
Sub handicaps follow your league rules: the sub's own league handicap if they have one, or your new-golfer rule if not. Sub rounds can be counted for the team's results while staying out of the season stats, depending on your setting.
Tips
- Keep 4 to 6 subs in the pool.
- Set the priority order to your favorite and most reliable subs first.

Changing the pool
Add, remove or reorder subs from your league's sub pool settings.
