Privacy Policy

Hive Asset Group, LLC ("Gimme," "we," "us") runs gimmeleague.com and the Gimme app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what choices you have. Questions: privacy@gimmeleague.com.

What we collect

Account and league data you give us. Name, email, phone number (optional unless you want texts), league name, course, schedule, scores, handicap inputs, side-game and dues records, messages, and files you upload (such as a scorecard photo).

Juniors. We do not create accounts for anyone under 13. A commissioner may add a junior to a league as a name only, and may store a parent or guardian contact. Commissioners must have the parent or guardian's permission. A parent can ask us to delete a junior's information at privacy@gimmeleague.com.

Payment data. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe. We receive limited details such as card brand, last four digits, status and amounts. We never see full card numbers.

Usage and device data. Pages viewed, features used, browser, device type, approximate location from IP address, and error reports. Analytics (PostHog) respect your cookie choice. Error monitoring (Sentry) helps us fix bugs.

Weather location. To show league-night weather, we send the course's location (not yours) to Open-Meteo.

Message records. We keep records of emails and texts sent through the Service, delivery status, and replies, including opt-in and opt-out records for texts.

How we use it

• To run the Service: scoring, handicaps, standings, messaging, billing and support.
• To send service emails and, with your consent where required, texts and marketing email.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and fix errors.
• To understand how the product is used and improve it.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads in the app. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

AI features

When you use an AI feature, the content you submit for that action (for example a scorecard photo, a league description or a list of golfers) is sent to Anthropic to produce the result. We do not allow our AI provider to use that content to train its models under our agreement with it. You see a confirm step before any AI output is saved or sent.

Who we share it with

Other people in your league. Commissioners and golfers can see league information the commissioner makes visible, such as names, scores, handicaps and standings. Public league pages show only what the commissioner chooses to publish.

Service providers (processors). Supabase (database and login), Stripe (payments and Connect Express), Resend (email), Twilio (text), Netlify (hosting), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), Anthropic (AI features), Open-Meteo (weather). They process data only to provide their service to us. See the Data Processing summary.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect people and the Service.

Business transfers. If Hive Asset Group, LLC is part of a merger or sale, data may transfer with notice to you.

Retention

We keep league data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, legal or fraud-prevention reasons, and encrypted backups that age out within 90 days. Text opt-out records are kept so we keep honoring them.

Your choices and rights

• Export your league data any time from your league settings.
• Delete your account from your account settings.
• Edit your profile in the app.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any message. Text STOP to any text to stop texts.
• Cookies: choose in the banner. See the Cookie Policy.
• Depending on where you live (including California, Minnesota and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or opt out of certain processing, and to appeal a decision. Email privacy@gimmeleague.com. We will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level data isolation between leagues. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong login and tell us at privacy@gimmeleague.com if you suspect a problem.

International use

The Service is operated in the United States. If you use it elsewhere, your data is transferred to and stored in the United States.

Changes

If we make material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
