Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone using Gimme, a service of Hive Asset Group, LLC. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

Do

  • Use Gimme to run a real golf league and communicate with its members.
  • Message only people who belong to your league, are on your sub pool, or have asked to hear from you.
  • Keep your scores honest. Handicap sandbagging is a league problem, but fake data is our problem when it breaks the Service.
  • Tell golfers how you will handle dues and prizes.

Do not

  • Break the law or use the Service for illegal gambling. Skins and side-game pots are for friendly, small-stakes league play. Any wagering must be legal where you live and play. Commissioners are responsible for compliance.
  • Send spam, chain messages, purchased lists, or messages to people who have not agreed to get them.
  • Send texts without proper consent, ignore STOP requests, or hide who the message is from.
  • Harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content.
  • Upload anyone's personal information without the right to do so. Do not add anyone under 13 as an account holder. Juniors may be listed by name only, with a parent or guardian's permission.
  • Impersonate others or claim an affiliation with Gimme, the USGA, GHIN, the PGA or any golf association.
  • Collect dues or fees for something other than your league's real activities, or use dues collection for fraud, money laundering or any activity prohibited by Stripe.
  • Probe, scan, overload or break the Service, bypass limits or access controls, or scrape it.
  • Resell the Service or run leagues for others outside a Course plan.
  • Upload malware or anything you do not have the right to share.

Enforcement

We may remove content, pause messaging, suspend or end accounts, and report unlawful activity. When we can, we will tell you why and give a chance to fix it first. Serious or repeated violations may end access immediately, without a refund.
