SMS Terms

These terms apply to text messages sent through Gimme, a service of Hive Asset Group, LLC, 202 N. Cedar Ave., Suite #1, Owatonna, MN 55060. Text messaging is a League Pro and Course feature.

Who sends the messages

Texts are sent by Gimme on behalf of your league's commissioner. Messages come from a Gimme number and say which league they are from.

What you will get

League messages only: pairings and tee times, results, rain-out and schedule changes, dues reminders, sub requests, and commissioner announcements. We do not send marketing or promotions for other businesses by text.

Opt-in

You are enrolled only after you agree. You can agree by:

1. Checking the box on your Gimme profile or league invite form, or
2. Replying YES to a Gimme confirmation text, or
3. Texting a keyword (such as JOIN) to the league's Gimme number.

By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from my golf league through Gimme (Hive Asset Group, LLC) at the number I provided, including pairings, results, schedule changes, dues reminders and sub requests. Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 8 per week during the season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of joining a league or buying anything. See the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

A commissioner may not add a phone number for texting unless that person has agreed to get texts.

Message frequency

Varies by league. Expect about 1 to 8 messages per week during the season and few in the off-season. Sub pool requests may send follow-ups until a spot is filled.

Cost

Gimme does not charge you for texts. Your carrier's message and data rates may apply.

STOP and HELP

• Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message to opt out. You will get one confirmation and then no more texts from that league's number. Opting out of texts does not remove you from the league; you can still use the app and get email.
• Reply START or UNSTOP to opt back in.
• Reply HELP for help, or email support@gimmeleague.com.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change.

Privacy

We use your phone number to send league texts and keep records of consent and opt-out. We do not sell or share phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Twilio delivers our messages as our service provider. See the Privacy Policy.
