Scoring on your phone
Scoring is built for sunlight and one hand.
Who enters scores
The commissioner picks one of two modes:
- One scorer per group. Any golfer in the group keeps the card.
- Everyone scores themselves.
Entering a round
- Open Gimme from your home screen. It installs as an app: add it to your home screen from your browser's share or menu option.
- Tap today's round.
- Enter each hole. Tap targets are big (at least 48 pixels). Stroke dots show on every hole where you get a stroke.
- Running net score and points show live.
- Submit when finished.
Attesting a card
If your commissioner turned it on, a playing partner confirms the card after it is submitted.
Outdoor mode
High-contrast mode is for bright sun. Switch it on in the scoring screen's display options.
Paper scorecard instead
Snap a photo of the paper card. The AI reads it into a confirm screen. Check every number before you save. You always confirm before anything posts.
After the last group posts
Results, league handicaps, standings, skins and payouts update automatically, and everyone gets the results.
Fixing a wrong score
Golfers can correct their own card until the commissioner locks the week. The commissioner can edit any score and a note is saved.
