Offline scoring
Half the golf courses in the country have no signal on the back nine. Gimme is built for that.
How it works
Scores you enter are saved on your phone first. When your phone gets a connection back, they sync on their own. The goal is that a score is never lost.
Tips
- Open Gimme once before you go with a connection, so today's round is loaded on your phone.
- Add Gimme to your home screen. It opens faster and keeps its data reliably.
- Stay in the app until it says it has synced. A small status shows saved on this phone versus synced.
- Do not clear your browser data or uninstall the app before the sync finishes. Unsynced scores live on the device until then.
- Switching phones mid-round? Finish the round and let it sync on the first phone, then pick up on the next.
Two people scoring the same group
If two phones enter the same hole offline, Gimme shows the difference when they sync and asks the group scorer to choose. Nothing is overwritten without asking.
If it does not sync
- Check you have a connection and reopen the app.
- Pull to refresh on the round page.
- Still stuck? Email support@gimmeleague.com with your league name and the date. Do not clear your data first.
Paper scorecards are the fallback. Snap a photo and the AI reads it for you to confirm.
