Schedule generation
Gimme builds the whole season for you.
What the generator does
- Round-robin for 4 to 32 teams or players.
- Handles byes when you have an odd number.
- Balances front and back nines across the season.
- Balances tee times so the same group is not always first off.
- Adds position rounds at the end of the season if you want them.
- Shotgun or tee time starts.
Steps
- Open your league's schedule page.
- Confirm start date, end date, league day and number of weeks.
- Choose tee time or shotgun start and the time slots.
- Generate. Review the result.
- Edit, then publish.
Edit by dragging
Drag a pairing to a new spot. Gimme warns about conflicts, such as a golfer in two groups or a team playing twice in a week. You can override if you know what you are doing.
Holidays and skipped weeks
Mark weeks as off before you generate (Memorial Day, the club championship), or mark them later. The schedule shifts to fit.
Changing the schedule mid-season
Rain-outs are one tap. See Rain-outs. For bigger changes, edit the schedule from your league settings. Completed rounds are never changed.
Publishing
Publishing makes the schedule visible to golfers and sends the announcement if you choose. You can unpublish and republish.
