Scoring app
A golf league scoring app that golfers actually use
Gimme is a golf league scoring app where each golfer posts their own score on their phone, hole by hole or as a round total. Handicap strokes are shown on every hole, and results, standings, skins and payouts update when the last group finishes, so the commissioner stops chasing scorecards.
Gimme opens for the 2027 season. Join the waitlist and we email you once when it does.
Built for the cart, one hand and bright sun
Score entry is the screen golfers use most, so it is the one built with the most care. Every target is at least 48 pixels, the hole number and par are large, and a high-contrast outdoor mode keeps the screen readable in direct sun.
Each hole shows the strokes the golfer receives as dots, taken from the stroke index of the hole and the golfer’s playing handicap. Nobody needs to count back from the hardest hole on the card.

Pick who keeps score
The commissioner chooses the rule for the league. One golfer in each group can keep the card for everyone, or every golfer can post their own. A playing partner can confirm the card before it is final.
- Hole by hole entry, or a round total when that is all a golfer has
- Running net score and points as each hole is posted
- An optional confirm step from a playing partner
- A paper fallback: photograph the card and check what was read before it is saved
Scoring keeps working without signal
Plenty of courses have patches with no coverage. The scoring screen is designed to keep taking scores offline and to send them when the phone is back in range. The target is that a score entered is never lost.
What happens after the last group posts
Results, league handicaps, standings, skins and payouts recalculate under the rules the commissioner picked. The commissioner reviews the week, fixes anything that looks off, and sends the recap. The formats are scored by the same engine that powers the free calculators on this site, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
Questions
Do golfers have to install an app?
No. Gimme is designed to work in the phone browser and to install to the home screen as a web app. There is nothing to find in an app store.
Can a golfer post a round total instead of every hole?
Yes, where the league allows it. Hole by hole scores are needed for skins, countback tiebreaks and Stableford, so a league using those asks for them.
What if there is no signal on the course?
The scoring screen is built to keep working offline and send the scores when the phone reconnects. Pre-launch, this is a design target rather than a promise about any specific course.
Which formats can it score?
Stroke play, match play, best ball, team match play with points, scramble, alternate shot, Stableford, quota and skins, gross or net. See the format library for the rules and worked examples.
Can the commissioner fix a wrong score?
Yes. The commissioner can edit a posted score and the standings recalculate. Changes are kept in an audit log.
Is the scoring app free to try?
The first 3 league rounds are free, no card. After that a league is $199 per season, with unlimited golfers.
